Fish eyes part deux!

I know everyone was just dying to see the
second half of the roll. I am so sorry
to keep you waiting soooo long.
ha ha ha
[I think I am really funny]
Anyways, enjoy!
Fountain on the waterfront and a glorious sunny day in November

I will never stop obsessing with these clouds!!!

This is where the magic happens... trying to make Spaetzle, a German egg noodle dish. Didn't turn out quite right, it's so hard to get the correct proportions! But it's so tasty.
and then they each got a $150 ticket for not having bought a ticket for the MAX. Luckily Zack went to court and got it down to $50. But still. SUX!

One of my favorite restaurants here is this little burger joint called Little Big Burger.
They only serve these mini burgers [mine is their gourmet veggie pattie of course] and fries
fried in Truffle oil... SO DELICIOUS. And you get a tall can of Stella for $2.
It's a perfect sized meal.
Some good ole' apples to apples fun at a cider house

Fun story here: These boys thought that they could beat me at apples to apples,
and we decided that whoever lost had to buy the winner a cider.
I won the first round and was very pleased with my winnings.
I then preceded to win the 2nd round as well and that taught all them who rules at this game!

Longest game of Jenga I've ever played. We should be on a competitive Jenga team. It got so tall!

My dear friend Margaret. So far she's my one good friend I've made at PSU, and I am so happy to have a girl around.

I spend too much money on coffee.

Happy sun!

Sunny & Chilly... just the way I like it!

I just wanted to a little post about some gorgeous sunny autumn days we've
had here in Portland. [Of course today was freezing, cloudy, rainy, and was dark by 4:45pm].
I thought my outfit was pretty snazzy this day as well...
My facial expression was less than flattering... blinded by that sun.
Right, so that skirt is from goodwill, the fur jacket is from my grandma (Nonna) circa 1950-60s?, stripped shirt from H&M, scarf from some street vendor in London circa 2007 and shoes from Nordstroms Rack [I sadly just sold them to Buffalo Exchange because they hurt my feet too much, and you gotta have comfy shoes when you live in the city!]

I tried to do this really awesome hair style I saw on this blog... but mine didn't turn out quite right...
Cheese Danishes are my weakness.

And this is my campus.
I'll post the rest of the fish eyes later this week, granted I haven't
died from the stress of the 4 papers I have to write.
On the bright side, my brother, sister -in-law and little 18 month niece are coming
up for Thanksgiving!!! I am so excited!!!

Fish eyes. [like the camera, not actual fish's eyes]

I started this roll when I first moved to this land of Port, so the first sets
of these are all pretty and sunny and I am in dresses.
I think I will divide this into two posts. Not for any reason in particular.

Stare at this one until you understand what it is. I was waiting for the Max (tram) to come when I saw this and had to snap a photo.

My favorite mirror in our house that we inherited from Zack's mama.

How cool is this right?? This is literally part of the cement wall that surrounds our front yard.

I keep trusting that my little Lomography plastic fish eye camera will capture these great things without a flash, but I am proved wrong every time. This is a great vintage furniture/ lamp store on SE Hawthorne.

Old film rolls
The Two above are from another store on SE Hawthorne that just has a TON of old stuff. I am not exaggerating. This place was chalk full of old furniture, clothes, cameras, tools, books, magazines, hardware, a resident cat, file cabinets full of black and white photos, and so much more.
exploring campus with my new/old 35 mm.

I try to find a different perspective on life.
I'll post the rest of the roll later this week.
I always love hearing what you think of these photos too,
so please, you know, feel free to share your thoughts n' stuff :)

My sister lives in Rome

My sister has been living in Rome now as an Au Pair for over a year.
I like to say she's following in my footsteps :)
She is a very gifted writer and has some crazy times in Rome.
For a good time go read her blog at When in Rome.<--------

Favorite roll of film yet: Autumn!!!

Just sharing some more shots of the city with you.
Which just happen to be my favorite roll I've taken thus far. Pretty exciting.
!!!
I love the cold weather. So many coats and scarfs and sweaters ohh!
It is funny though that this weather is like the winter time in Sacto,CA.
Only more fun to come in the months ahead! YAY

It's a self portrait

First Thursdays art walk, just like second Saturdays!

I couldn't ask for a more beautiful morning while waiting for the bus to go to work.

This was also first Thursday. This is at this shop called Lizard Lounge
and they had a band play and free beer from Windmer... needless to say we
hung out there awhile.

I discovered how I want to decorate my house one day... plastering a wall with old book pages. So freaking awesome! This was one of the studios/houses on display with art on first Thursday. I seriously love this so much and I was obsessing slightly.

Voodoo, you will never cease to be the most delicious doughnut I'll put in my mouth.

The German. I wish this was better quality, but I still like the stark contrast.

I love my pumpkin :)
As you may or not know, there is a huge Occupy Portland camp in downtown. [Joining the Occupy Wall street movement] Here are a few snapshots from the camp.

My friend Jensen
WHOOP!
On a side note: the quarter is over in a month! I think I like this new system of schooling...
I just have tons of papers and projects and books to read all piling up now!
I love Autumn. & when LP comes to visit me.

She's adorable-- I mean badass.
