Sometimes I wear clothes

I like to have fun with my outfits and
living in Portland has made that easier since
it's such a fun funky atmosphere where
everyone's style is unique.
I am unfortunately not skilled at taking photos
of myself in these awesome outfits, and I often
forget to document them.
Enjoy these self-timers and photos from above.

Few days before I chopped off 5 inches.

New H&M dress that I am in love with, found at Crossroads. + Sparkly socks.

Favorite leather shorts with a favorite Free People sweater found at Goodwill! + my P.F. flyers.

Freshly cut hairs, with Old Navy sweater, city trousers from Gap and classic loafs.

A blurry night time adventure at the waterfront

Just an evening adventure at the waterfront
with the boys a few weeks ago.
I've been meaning to post these for a while...
but you know time just keeps going.
weird.
Apologies for the blurriness of a lot of these.
It's just so damn difficult to focus at night!
Expect lots of photos :)
Listen to this for happy viewing.

This is just outside the bus stop

cloudy night skies are my favorite

There are a lot of shoes on telephone wires around portland.

Roll of film Wednesday... but on Monday... Part two

You know I can't hold off showing
you all my newly developed film.
I only lasted four days. I think that's long enough.
I must admit I like this half of the roll better, hopefully you will too!
p.s. check out part one here!

Maggie, from the band Youth. I know it's terrible quality, but I really loved the fire in the background.

Matt, slappin' the bass, also from the band Youth. They're great. You should listen to them. Again, apologies for the quality, or lack thereof.

Where the magic happens--- waffle iron at work. See all the caramelized goodness???

My daily Saturday morning view, except add a line of people around the corner. Looking out the Window at---- The Waffle Window.

Inside/Outside on the Hawthorne bridge, on the 14 bus.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

Making fun shadow puppets at our favorite Lebanese place called Habibi.

Favorite bathroom I've used in Portland. Located in the Valentines bar. This night, some guy bought everyone who wanted one a Pabst. I love PDX.

Another one for my future "bathrooms that I've been in and liked" blog.

On my way to Washington Park

Self-Portrait of a photographer, and some fun brick design!

False Spring! I love you! Too bad it's over. And I have no idea what happened to the film at bottom.

My second favorite picture ever, because my camera can't even do double exposures, and look at this magic! You can see the beautiful Mt. Hood in the distance. Really though, I need a new camera.
Now listen to Youth and look through all the pictures again?

Roll of film Wednesday? /// Part one

Sorry It's been a while since the last post, But I just
haven't had any material that I've felt strongly about to post.
Life has been way too busy for my liking, with school or work
every single day of the week, which = NO BREAK FOR JACKIE.
Midterms are also on Friday (February 10th, yes one day from now,
why am I wasting time on here and not writing those essays, I DON'T KNOW!)
Anyways, I really love this latest roll of film (sound familiar?).
We had some rare sunshine, which always makes for good photos.
My insufficient camera (Canon T50) messed up this roll while I was
rewinding it, and I accidentally exposed the first part of the film
but I actually really like the way it turned out!
Also, I decided to break this into two post so I don't
"shoot my wad" in one go. :)

This was a self timer one, and Tobin would have been on the left that is now the white blob and black rectangle.  We were waiting for the MAX (light rail).

Obviously this was one of those "messed up ones" but it actually turned out to be one of my favorites of the roll! Cool colors and composition, with no editing needed!

Burnside Bridge

This is the Burnside skate park. It was built by local skaters in the 90's and totally funded by the community and donations. It's located under the Burnside Bridge.

the usual

That one time when it snowed... looking through the window on the 2nd story of a building on campus.

A typical view on my walk home from school, it was raining and I was trying to capture the rain, but that didn't work out too well.

Favorite tree shadow!

Bathroom at Romtoms in SE PDX. I am going to start a series called "Bathrooms that I've been in and Liked" soon.
